3. Log Files and Web Analytics

Like many web platforms, Financecals follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and optionally the number of clicks.

This information is not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of this information is to analyze aggregate traffic patterns, administer the site, prevent security denial-of-service abuse, and gather broad demographic data for technical optimization.

4. Client-Side Calculator Input Handling

Our 7 tax and paycheck calculation tools (such as the Overtime Tax Calculator, Tip Deduction Estimator, and 50-State Paycheck Engine) execute their mathematical formulas locally within your client browser using secure JavaScript (Alpine.js).

Your financial numbers, hourly wages, overtime hours, and filing statuses are never transmitted to, harvested by, or stored in our database. When you refresh or close your browser tab, all calculated inputs are wiped instantly from local memory.
